According to the TaoTao TBR7 Motorcycle Owner’s Manual, the top speed of the TBR7 motorcycle is:
Maxiumum Speed ≧90km/h
TBR7 Owners Manual – Specifications Section on Page 5.
This is a direct quote(copy and paste’d) from the TBR7 Motorcycle Owners Manual I have. Even with the miss-spelling of Maximum.
What Is That In “American”?
I have a science/engineering background, so I like the metric system. I don’t like having to explain or concert metric units into ‘American.’
A recent conversation I had at a motorcycle shop. When looking for a replacement Boom Vader motorcycle motor mount bolt( I Broke A Motorcycle Motor Mount Bolt ). I need a pretty long bolt, 120 millimeters.
The response I got was, “What is that in American?”
The education system failed us, and I was a ‘special’ kid in public schools too. :/
Again, The TaoTao TBR7 Top Speed:
Top Speed ≧90km/h
Converts to…
Top Speed ≧ ~56 mph
So TaoTao Claims the TBR7 motorcycle can reach ≧ 56 mph?
What is your opinion, leave some feedback.

TBR7 Upgrades
Hi I’m Tom, A New Motorcycle Rider and Blog Author.
I am a new motorcycle rider(Pa Motorcycle Learner’s Permit at the end of 2020, and I received a full M-Class Pa Motorcycle License in 2021, only after passing the Pa Motorcycle Safety Course).
I bought my first motorcycle, a TaoTao TBR7 (A Chinese Dual-sport motorcycle), at the beginning of 2021 and have been doing upgrades on that motorcycle since.
I added to my motorcycle collection by buying a Boom Vader Gen 2 motorcycle in 2022, and that little Grom-Clone bike has been upgraded by me as well.
I continue to ride my Boom Vader Gen 2 motorcycle as well as my TaoTao TBR7 dual-sport bike.
Read more on my About Me page.
Fun Fact: I’ve only been on one group ride.
