Well, I finally pulled the trigger; I made the order. After some forum feedback ( ChinaRiders.Net ) about Grom Clone motorcycles, followed by further research, and way too much overthinking, I decided my second motorcycle will be… a….. Boom VADER Gen 2 (BD125-10) motorcycle!
I have a Boom Vader Gen 2 125cc Motorcycle On Order.
It took me a while, but Boom Vader, like many other Grom Clone motorcycles, can use much of the Honda Grom’s aftermarket parts, and being a carburetor, the Boom Vader gives me the chance to tweak the snot out of it.
I got the order confirmation in my email and now just waiting, hear patiently in Pennsylvania. For a shipment from California. Trying…..
I plan to share with you from whom I purchased my Boom Vader, but I’ll keep it a secret for now. So I can properly give a full review of the service. As for now, I only have an email confirmation. Be prepared for the review once the motorcycle is delivered, built, and tagged for riding.
Two Motorcycles, Twice The Fun, Twice The Cost Of Insurance?
I have a motorcycle insurance provider and wondering how much another motorcycle in the family will cost. I think it’s time again( Chinese Motorcycle Insurance Problems, Deja Vu Again? ) to search around for motorcycle quotes. Now that I better understand the Pa motorcycle requirements ( So, What Are Pennsylvania’s Motorcycle Insurance Requirements? ).
Check back later, and I will update the Boom Vader motorcycle gets here, gets built, and gets ridden.
Thanks for reading along!

Boom Vader Gen 2 Upgrades
Just Bought A Boom Vader; Now What Do I Do?
Hi I’m Tom, A New Motorcycle Rider and Blog Author.
I am a new motorcycle rider(Pa Motorcycle Learner’s Permit at the end of 2020, and I received a full M-Class Pa Motorcycle License in 2021, only after passing the Pa Motorcycle Safety Course).
I bought my first motorcycle, a TaoTao TBR7 (A Chinese Dual-sport motorcycle), at the beginning of 2021 and have been doing upgrades on that motorcycle since.
I added to my motorcycle collection by buying a Boom Vader Gen 2 motorcycle in 2022, and that little Grom-Clone bike has been upgraded by me as well.
I continue to ride my Boom Vader Gen 2 motorcycle as well as my TaoTao TBR7 dual-sport bike.

Fun Fact: I’ve only been on one group ride.
