Now, if you don’t know who SRK Cycles is, they are the physical company behind the YouTube Channels “Bikes and Beards” and their namesake “SRK Cycles.” Something happened? What Happened To SRK Cycles?
I’ve been a follower of SRK Cycle’s YT channel Bikes and Beards for a while and even visited the SRK Cycles office. Even test drove one of their motorcycles, a Ducati Scrambler. So when I heard something was happening, I wanted to know what happened to SRK cycles.
SRK Cycles And My Experience.
On the YT channel “Bikes and Beards” a great (although called ‘click-bait’) series of videos covering Chinese motorcycles that Sean(SRK Cycles’ owner) bought from the Amazon website and tested.
I loosely use the word ‘tested’; ‘abused’ is more like it.

Well, Sean is testing the RPS Hawk 250 Chinese dual-sport motorcycle; if you are a reader of my blog, you know the Hawk 250 is a Chonda-Cousin of my motorcycle, the TaoTao TBR7 dual-sport motorcycle ( TBR7 Review & Specs ).

I know SRK Cycles intended to create an entertaining video about cheap Chinese motorcycles online. Still, videos like theirs helped me decide to buy one as my first motorcycle (Why Buy A Cheap Chinese Dual-Sport Motorcycles?). This bike might not have been the best first motorcycle, but if it could take their abuse, it could be the abuse of a new motorcycle rider (Just Bought My First Motorcycle!). Thank you, SRK Cycles!
I Visited The SRK Cycles Actual Physical Location.
My daughter and I decided to take a road trip out to SRK Cycles. I didn’t get to meet Sean, but I met some of his employees that can be seen in some of his videos. I was test riding a motorcycle to make it a ‘practical visit, but just driving out there and visiting alone was worth the time. I figured in time, I would meet Sean when I buy my next motorcycle.

OK, Back To What Happened To SRK Cycles?
From what I watched in the last SRK Cycle YT video, it looks like they closed up their public shop. Sold off remaining bike inventory and is taking a hiatus from flipping motorcycles. This is my take on what I watched, but you should watch the video for yourself:

Well, It Happened; SRK Cycles Is Gone.
Hi I’m Tom, A New Motorcycle Rider and Blog Author.
I am a new rider(Pa Learners Permit at the end of 2020, and I received a Pa Motorcycle License in 2021 after passing a Motorcycle Safety Course).
I bought my first motorcycle, a TaoTao TBR7, at the beginning of 2021 and have been doing upgrades on that motorcycle since.
I added to my motorcycle collection by buying a Boom Vader Gen 2 in 2022, and that Grom-Clone motorcycle has been upgraded by me as well.
I continue to ride my Boom Vader Gen 2 motorcycle as well as my TaoTao TBR7 dual-sport bike.

One thing SRK Cycles is known for on some of their YT channels, “Bikes and Beards,” is dorky Dad jokes.
Sean can be over the top, and his jokes and acts can often push the envelope with humor. His treatment of Chonda bikes(Hawk 250 and the Magician motorcycles) has had mixed reviews.
How well the Hawk 250 stood up to the guys of SRK Cycles abuse. That Chonda stood up to being buried and knocked around made me respect the Chonda bikes. I opted for the TaoTao TBR7 ( My TaoTao TBR7 Review & Specs: Out Of The Box. ) instead of the Hawk 250, but that’s for another set of reasons( Hawk 250 vs. TBR7 ).
Now, Sean treated the Magician motorcycle right out of the box, knocking it to the ground by kicking it. See for yourself: I BOUGHT the MOST AVERAGE Bike on Amazon for $1,200
This treatment of a new motorcycle did upset a few people in the Chinese motorcycle family.
So, did SRK Cycles Close?
Well, some time has passed since we first saw the video about SRK Cycles selling off its complete used inventory of motorcycles. During this time, we have seen the Bikes and Beards group continue to produce content. So…
So what happened to SRK Cycles? Are they close? Well, maybe to flipping motorcycles, and has no inventory of SRK Motorcycles for sale to public sale. Still, SRK Cycles has ventured into more online YT content and direct product sales ( Bikes and Beards Gear ).
Just saw recently that SRK Cycles is using crowdfunding for their newest product, a motorcycle detailing spray. I haven’t used the spray but might try it in the future. Stay tuned.
Now is this 2.0? Well, for sure, this isn’t 1.0.
Dan, I’m sure you and I aren’t the only ones watching what is happening with the SRK Cycles company or on the Bikes and Beards YT channel. I’m sure we are in for a show.
